“…The [Valentine’s Day] episode will reunite her character, Liz Lemon, with several old lovers, and that apparently includes the Bon Jovi frontman. Also back: Dean Winters, who has recurred since the series started as Dennis Duffy, and Saturday Night Live’s Jason Sudeikis as former flame Floyd. “Liz is upset to learn Floyd is not only getting married, but is competing to get a free wedding on The Today Show,” says Tina, who’s trying to lure some of the Today anchors on for cameos.
And Mad Men’s Jon Hamm will also return in the Valentine’s show as ex-beau, Dr. Drew Baird. Just before I spoke with Tina, she’d run into Jon in the Shrine Auditorium ballroom and was startled to see the handsome actor’s face covered up behind a big bushy beard. “I went up to him and very carefully said, ‘So, you’re going to shave that beard for Saturday Night Live right?’ (Hamm hosts next week’s show.) And he said, yes, Lorne Michaels asked him to shave. So he will hopefully also be clean shaven on 30 Rock.”(via TVGuide)
